The Detail Jeanne is owned and operated by Jeanne Ford, retired Disney Senior Leader of 21 years and ready to make magic for YOU as your personal assistant and professional event planner!
The first 17 years of Jeanne’s career were dedicated to managing professional tennis events and media across the country. She then joined the Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games becoming the first woman in history to manage the Olympic Boxing venue. Walt Disney World Resort recruited Jeanne after the Olympic Games to help open Disney’s (now ESPN) Wide World of Sports Complex.
Jeanne next migrated to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to lead the Convention, Catering, Media and Special Events team. Disney then called upon Jeanne’s expertise to manage all special events across property including Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Candlelight Processional, and Star Wars Weekends to name a few.
Jeanne wrapped up her Disney career managing the Disney VoluntEARS, the nation’s largest employee volunteer program, Cast Fundraising for charities, and the Ambassador Program - a program Walt Disney created 55 years ago.
An avid animal lover, Jeanne rescues and fosters homeless dogs until they find their forever homes. Jeanne is a breast cancer survivor, mentor and fundraiser in the hopes that the pink ribbon will someday be the symbol for the cure and not the fight.
